Morehead Planetarium

The first planetarium to be built on a U.S. college, Morehead features a 68-foot planetarium dome Star Theater, the NASA Digital Theater, exhibits, the UNC Visitor's Center, art galleries, a rose garden and a massive sundial. St. Joseph's Performance Hall

The St. Joseph's Performance Hall located at the Hayti Heritage Center in Durham was the former sanctuary of the St. Joseph's AME Church, one of America's first autonomous African-American churches. The 1891 Richardsonian Romanesque-style building, now on the National Register of Historic Places, was restored into a 450-seat performance hall in 2001.
