West Point on the Eno City Park

West Point on the Eno is a natural and historic 388-acre city park located along a two-mile stretch of the scenic Eno River six miles north of downtown Durham. It features a reconstructed 1778 working grist mill, the historic McCown-Mangum House (mid-1800's), the Hugh Mangum Museum of Photography, hiking trails, picnic areas, amphitheater, canoe and kayaking. NORTH CAROLINA STATE CAPITOL

Built between 1833 and 1840, the North Carolina State Capitol in downtown Raleigh is a National Historic Landmark and one of the best preserved examples of a civic building in the Greek revival style.
